Welcome to NFEST – Needingworth’s annual free-to-enter Community Music and Real Ale festival!

We’ve come a long way since our humble origins in 1995, when bands performed on an open-sided farmer’s trailer, with musicians and crowds at the mercy of the elements…

Situated on the Parish playing fields, our signature marquee makes for a brilliant environment for performers and audience alike rain or shine, and the two-stage set up allows for continuous live music well into the evening.

And within and around the Village Hall you’ll find several bars featuring a great selection of real cask ales from local breweries, plus a variety of food stalls catering for all tastes and preferences. Check our Refreshments page for the latest menu additions.

Free to enter, with donations welcome

NFEST is completely free to enter for all – though we welcome donations and any extra support you can provide by making food and drink purchases on site. The festival is entirely delivered by volunteers, which helps us keep it affordable for everyone.

Vital support comes from valued local businesses, without whose generous financial and in-kind support we would be unable to bring you NFEST. If you’d like to know more about opportunities to sponsor and advertise with us, please take a look at our Supporters page.

All funds generated support The Needingworth Village Hall Trust – the registered charity behind NFEST. All funds generated help to maintain the building for the use of local community groups all year round.

Save the dates! Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July 2025

After an incredibly tough time for many in recent years, we made the difficult decision not to go ahead with a Festival in 2024. So we’re delighted to be back for 2025, with many new additions to our group of lead volunteers.

If you’d like to play a small but vital role in helping us deliver the Festival across the weekend, please see our Get Involved page for more details.

And you can stay in touch with all out latest news by following us on Facebook or Instagram.
